English Language Arts

I am strongly dedicated to the English Language Arts, as evidenced by my continued studies in undergraduate and graduate school. I graduated with honors for my Bachelor's of Arts in English, with a GPA of 3.66, and studied a wide variety of courses, from psychoanalysis in film, to Shakespeare, to contemporary global literarture. My work at the undergraduate level also included two different conference presentations, in which I was able to copresent with another student: Honors Undergraduate Research Conference 2005: “Tracing News through Speculative Fiction.” In 2007, I presented my own original research at the English Undergraduate Research Conference: “The Female in Sir Walter Raleigh’s Writings.”

In my course of study at SUNY College at Cortland, I have studied a wide variety of coursework, including Young Adult Literature, Contemporary Global Literature, and British Literature. I continue my committment to the English Language Arts, through a varied and vast reading life, as well as a continued committment to educational news and updating my educational practice.
